Online Support for Student Success
Santa Clara Law is committed to promoting every student’s success in both their degree program and their career. For those enrolled in the Online Master of Legal Studies (MLS) in Corporate Compliance program, we provide a comprehensive roster of support that includes instructors, IT specialists, and more.
The Role of the Online Legal Programs Office
The Online Legal Programs office will assist you with class registration, orientation, textbook requirements, administrative issues, and any other concerns you may have. The Online Legal Programs office staff is available from 9 am to 5 pm Pacific Standard Time and via email at mls@scu.edu.
Orientation and SSC Introduction
Before signing in to your first Global Ethics/Compliance course, you will have an opportunity to learn more about Santa Clara Law and explore the online learning management system (LMS) during a virtual orientation. This course is designed to set students up for seamless success throughout the Online MLS in Corporate Compliance program. Through a series of interactive exercises, it provides a digital roadmap for:
- Navigating syllabi and course assignments
- Accessing and exploring SiVCo
- Submitting completed assignments
- Reviewing feedback and assessment scores
- Contacting faculty and cohort peers
Online Support
Once you have completed orientation and become familiar with the online program interfaces, we do not expect you to encounter any issues or down time within the platform. However, in the event that you have technical troubles while accessing or navigating the LMS, SiVCo, or other communication features, please contact the Online Legal Programs office at mls@scu.edu or use the help function in the LMS.
