Scholarship Committee
Every year our club awards a scholarship to a 2L or 3L club member who has demonstrated a commitment to the goals of our organization. The Scholarship Committee is comprised of 1Ls who set the criteria for the scholarship and review submitted applications to determine the winner(s). Scholarship applications are reviewed on an anonymous basis to ensure objectivity.
Community Service Committee
Women and Law is dedicated to giving back to the community. The Community Service Committee helps the Community Service Chair plan and implement various service projects throughout the year. In the past, the club has successfully organized a prom dress drive and an Adopt-a-Family campaign. Women and Law has also carried out numerous fundraising activities to help serve the community.
Benefit Committee
Women and Law’s annual Benefit is a favorite event among SCU Law students. Each year our club hosts this fundraiser that directly benefits an organization that promotes the goals of Women and Law. The Benefit Committee assists the Benefit Chair in planning the event and making sure it is a success.
Professional Outreach Committee
W&L hosts several professional networking events and speaker panels throughout the year. The Professional Outreach Committee assists the External Vice President in planning the events and contacting professionals in the field.
