The Katharine & George Alexander Community Law Center (http://lawscuedustage.wpengine.com/kgaclc) is launching "Swift Justice," a fundraising activity organized in conjunction with Olympic Trials qualifier and SCU Law student, JT Service.
In this activity, you commit to "Swift Justice" by setting the goal of running or walking the Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon in San José on October 14, 2007. This event is open to everyone: faculty, staff, students, non-students, friends, family, colleagues, etc. Please spread the word! JT will provide training information and two group training sessions, in addition to being available from now until Marathon Day to answer any training questions by e-mail.
You decide how much money you want to raise for the KGACLC among your family, colleagues and friends. You make a difference when you sign up by:
- Raising money in one of three different levels so that the KGACLC can continue to offer its free legal services to the community
- Promoting justice through the support of the KGACLC’s legal programs
- Staying in great shape with the assistance of top Bay Area marathon trainers
Please visit http://lawscuedustage.wpengine.com/kgaclc/news_events.html for more information. If the Frequently-Asked-Questions section there does not answer your question, please send an e-mail to smlopez@scu.edu .
We look forward to seeing you at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon on October 14, 2007.
