The Santa Clara Law Review recently announced its selection for the Executive Board for Volume 48. The new Executive Board members are:
Scott Mangum, Editor-in-Chief, joins the board with a diverse intellectual and academic background. He holds a B.A. in History, summa cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles where he studied under the esteemed Dr. Mary F. Corey. Upon completing his first year at Santa Clara University School of Law, he studied the Korean legal system in Seoul, South Korea where he also worked for the firm of Kim, Chang & Lee. This summer he will work for the firm of Sweeney, Mason, Wilson, & Bosomworth.
Michael Wahlander, Managing Editor, comes to the Executive Board with four years of business experience. Before law school, Michael worked as an insurance broker in the entertainment industry providing high-profile clients and their business managers with insurance and risk management advice. Last summer, he worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Mary Jo Levinger at the Santa Clara County Superior Court. Michael graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, cum laude, with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Public Policy.
Jennifer Tse, Senior Comments Editor, joins the Executive Board with diverse academic and professional experience. Prior to law school, she trained to be a feature literary agent representing film writers and directors at The Gersh Agency in Beverly Hills. Last summer, she studied abroad in Sydney, Australia, where she interned at Amnesty International as a refugee caseworker. She has also represented asylum seekers at the Katharine and George Alexander Community Law Center. This summer, she will intern at the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund in New York where she will work in its Anti-Trafficking Initiative. She is the co-president of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. She holds a B.A. in Communication Studies and Business, cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Lauren Fair, Senior Technical Editor, joins the Executive Board with several years experience in small business management. Prior to law school, she studied European business and culture at the Ecole des Praticiens du Commerce International, Groupe ESSEC, in Paris, France. In 2006, Fair was an extern to Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge Socrates Peter Manoukian. Currenty, she represents clients as a Bar-certified intern at the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office and is the research assistant to Professor Gerald F. Uelmen. This summer, she will work for San Jose family law firm Allan & Martelle, LLP. Fair holds a B.A. in International Business, summa cum laude, from San Diego State University.
Cody Knight, Senior Articles Editor, joins the Executive Board with diverse professional experience. Prior to Law School, he worked as an analyst with Braddock Financial, a hedge fund management firm specializing in fixed-income products. He has additional experience in the areas of real estate development and television production. He holds a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
