The Santa Clara Law community is looking forward to welcoming its incoming Dean, Michael Kaufman, to Charney Hall when his tenure begins on July 1. Highly respected in the world of legal education, Dean Kaufman brings a genuine passion for excellence, a devotion to service, and a recognition that a strong sense of community is among our law school’s distinctive strengths.
In order to begin facilitating meaningful connections for Dean Kaufman with members of the Santa Clara Law family, we will be sharing opportunities to meet him and hear more about his vision for Santa Clara Law shortly. From hosted receptions with law school donors, to formal visits with firms and in-house legal departments, to signature events with alumni or more casual gatherings with students, faculty and staff, we seek to actively facilitate Dean Kaufman’s introduction to the Santa Clara Law community.
In the coming months, as updates to state and local health protocols allow for greater in-person interactions, more information regarding our first year engagement plans will be announced.
