SANTA CLARA, CA (Apr. 25, 2005) – The Santa Clara Law Review has selected its Board of Editors for the upcoming Volume 46.  Bringing a diverse and proven set of skills to the publication, the new board embodies the talent and excellence that the School of Law has come to expect of its officially-sponsored law journal.  The members of the Volume 46 Board, who are J.D. candidates for 2006, are enthusiastic about the upcoming year and look forward to beginning their production in the early summer.

The Law Review’s Executive Board consists of the following Santa Clara law students:

Brian P. Wikner, Editor-in-Chief, comes to the Law Review with years of management experience.  Mr. Wikner has worked as an aide in the United States Senate and, most recently, has worked for a San Jose intellectual property firm.  This summer he will intern for Sun Microsystems’ Public Policy Department.  He holds a B.A., cum laude, in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego, where he graduated with Phi Beta Kappa honors.

Hilary Waites Stevenson, Managing Editor, brings to the Law Review many years of experience managing projects as a government contractor in the environmental consulting business.  She holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Biology from Stanford University, and her scientific research has appeared in various scholarly publications.

Jeffrey Cadwell, Senior Technical Editor, joins the Executive Board of the Santa Clara Law Review with extensive experience editing musical scores as well as management experience.  While studying law full time, Mr. Cadwell is active as a composer, having had works published, recorded and performed in both the United States and the United Kingdom.  He holds a B.M., summa cum laude, from Drake University and an M.A. in Music Composition from the University of Minnesota.

Carlos Miño, Senior Article Editor, comes to the Law Review with a broad range of experience. He has worked as an extern for the Honorable Micheal Byrnes, in the banking industry, and in the non-profit sector developing statewide policy for universal access to preschool education. Mr. Miño holds a B.A. in Political Science from Saint Mary’s College of California, where he graduated cum laude.

Shaina L. Nishimoto, Senior Comments Editor, joins the Law Review with extensive legal experience.  Most recently, Ms. Nishimoto worked as a summer associate at Tomlinson Zisko LLP in  Palo Alto, California.  Prior to law school, she worked for the General Counsel of Gibson, Dunn, & Crutcher LLP in  Los Angeles, California.  Ms. Nishimoto will be a summer associate at Cooley Godward LLP in 2005.  She holds a B.A. in Psychology, cum laude, from  Loyola Marymount University, where she lettered for four years as an NCAA Division One Women’s Soccer Scholar Athlete.
