This summer, Assistant Dean for High Tech Law at Santa Clara University School of Law, Jenny Lynn Cox, will be on-site in Singapore as Program Director of the summer law study abroad program.  “I am looking forward to meeting our colleagues in Singapore,” says Dean Cox, “and to deepening our relationship in the Singaporean high tech community.”

The appointment of Dean Cox as Program Director indicates both a closer collaboration between the international law programs and the high tech programs at the School of Law, as well as an enrichment of the high tech opportunities for students in the summer law study abroad program in Singapore.  “Singapore has long been a leading force in high tech in the Malaysia region,” comments Assistant Dean Elizabeth Powers, “so it is exciting for us to have the ability to provide these opportunities to our students.  Having Dean Cox directing our program this summer will give us the opportunity to explore more internships and other opportunities for students in the high tech area.”

The summer law study abroad program currently offers high tech law internships in its Australia (Sydney), Hong Kong/China, Japan (Tokyo), Korea (Seoul), and Germany (Munich) programs.   For more information about these summer law study abroad programs, please visit our website at: www.scu.edu/law/international.
