The American Constitution Society (ACS) announced on March 31 that Santa Clara Law student Dustin Weber was selected as an American Constitution Society (ACS) Next Generation Leader. Each year, ACS selects a small group of students from their nearly 200 chapters to be part of its Next Generation Leader program. Students who have demonstrated commitment to ACS engagement and strong leadership qualities are selected through a competitive application process. ACS stated that they were impressed with Dustin’s leadership and promotion of their mission and values.
The American Constitution Society (ACS) is both a national student organization as well as a national professional organization providing students unique opportunities to develop their professional skills and focus. ACS promotes the vitality of the U.S. Constitution and the fundamental values it expresses: individual rights and liberties, genuine equality, access to justice, democracy, and the rule of law. Consistent with the Jesuit values at Santa Clara law, ACS believes that law can and should be a force for improving the lives of all people. They work on both the student and professional level to build a diverse and dynamic network of people committed to justice.
Congratulations Dustin and the rest of the ACS team at Santa Clara Law!
