Apply for Summer Financial Aid
Summer financial aid is processed separately from the academic year’s financial aid, and is considered the end of the academic year. Law students will need to have completed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for the Federal Direct Loan programs.
Law students who wish to enroll during the summer must be registered for a minimum of three units to be considered for Federal Direct Loan programs. There are a few private educational loan programs that may be used for those enrolled in less than three units.
NOTE: Non-Santa Clara University School of Law students who wish to apply to receive summer financial aid from their home institution must apply through their home school and submit a consortium agreement to the Law Admissions and Financial Aid Office.
