Laura Love

Laura Love joined Santa Clara University School of Law as a lecturer in 2012. Before teaching at Santa Clara, she worked as a researcher with Stanford Law School’s Gould Negotiation and Mediation Center and practiced law at the Learning Rights Law Center, where she represented students with disabilities in matters against the Los Angeles Unified School District. Laura began her legal career at Vinson & Elkins, LLP, where her practice focused on real estate, finance, and bankruptcy. Laura is a graduate of Stanford Law School with Pro Bono Distinction, and in law school was a member of Stanford’s Youth & Education Law Clinic and interned with California Rural Legal Assistance. She also holds a summa cum laude bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles. Before attending law school, Laura worked with Los Angeles Free Legal Aid and the UCLA Office of Students with Disabilities. Laura is licensed to practice law in Texas and California.
