Louis Wu is a patent attorney specializing in the commercialization of technological innovation. His technical background includes: a bachelor of science degree in materials science and engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a master of science degree in industrial engineering from Northeastern University, extended course work from the Advanced Biosciences Program at the University of California at Berkeley, and years of experience as a research scientist/engineer. Since receiving his juris doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law, he has represented numerous technology-based start-ups, research institutions, and industry leaders. He is currently in private practice in Oakland and holds professional licenses from the California State Bar, the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
