Linsey Krolik

Lecturer

Linsey Krolik is Principal at Law Offices of Linsey Krolik, practicing in the areas of FinTech, consumer protection, privacy, contracting, product counseling and marketing. She has held several senior roles at Silicon Valley companies, including PayPal, Bill.com, ARM, Palm and 3Com. She holds a JD/MBA from Santa Clara University. An expert in legal project management and Plain English legal writing, Linsey approaches her work methodically and creatively. She is an adjunct professor at Santa Clara University School of Law in the school’s Entrepreneur’s’ Law Clinic, lecturing on clear communication, contracts, marketing, product, Internet, and privacy law and supervising students working on issues with real-life Silicon Valley startups.

Some of her favorite projects at Silicon Valley companies have included: preparing Bill.com for its IPO in 2019, starting Bill.com’s privacy program, leading a global project on PayPal’s user agreements and policies, leading PayPal’s product legal team, and leading the award-winning team to separate PayPal from eBay in 2015.
