Formerly, Senior Counsel with Internal Revenue Service Office of Chief Counsel (Small Business/ Self-Employed Division). Experienced litigator skilled in tax controversy. Adept at developing effective tax audit strategies, and advising and counseling senior international audit teams. Prior to IRS, obtained broad experience in civil litigation, real estate transactions, and dispute settlement.

Former Litigation Center Director and faculty at Golden Gate University School of Law. Highly skilled at depositions, witness examinations, federal evidence, trial advocacy, and pre-trial litigation. Developed and instructed in the nationally recognized Honors Summer Trial Advocacy Training Program. Curated and hosted a technology litigation summit, and created an innovative curriculum for advanced litigation skills training.  Instructor for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA), where I provide nationwide trainings in conducting on-line proceedings, deposition skills, trial advocacy, and tax litigation.
