Following a 25-year career litigating both sides of intellectual property and complex commercial disputes, Jill now focuses her practice on providing mediation, arbitration, conciliation and facilitation services. She serves as a mediator and early neutral evaluator privately and in the courts, handling a wide range of civil matters. Jill is also the co-chair and an active member of the City of Mountain View’s Voluntary Mediation Program, a volunteer mediator with Project Sentinel, and a trained Settlement Facilitator for the City of Mountain View’s Community Stabilization and Fair Rent Act program. For more than 20 years, Jill has also acted as a volunteer presiding over mandatory settlement conferences.
Before turning her focus to providing dispute resolution services, Jill was a partner in private practice at a 1,000+ international firm and later at a Bay Area boutique firm, acting as a trial lawyer and strategic counselor. During her time in private practice, in addition to the core practice of intellectual property and complex commercial disputes, Jill also handled a wide variety of matters, including representing amusement parks, investigating securities and white collar criminal matters, and ADA claims.
