Elizabeth is an alumni of San Francisco State University and the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.  She has practiced as trial and appellate counsel in various areas of law.  My career is largely based in helping communities understand and access the justice system.  She has represented individuals, communities, tribes, and government agencies.

She believes that by increasing knowledge of and access to the legal system, people will better appreciate the law’s potential to achieve justice. Her courses center on the varying perspectives of the justice system. Her students often pursue careers in law, social work, law enforcement, counseling, community advocacy, and social justice work.
