Andrea is an attorney and member of the Privacy & Security Legal team at Intel. Prior to her role on the PSL team, she was Chief of Staff to Steve Rodgers, General Counsel of Intel. Steve leads the Growth Acceleration Team (GAT), encompassing the Intel Legal Department, Global Government Affairs, Ethics & Legal Compliance, and International Trade.
Andrea is a passionate leader on the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) team, helping to drive DEI efforts in the legal department and across Intel, while working to transform the legal profession with initiatives like The Intel Rule. Andrea is an active volunteer in external organizations supporting gender equality, DEI, and law student and attorney development. Most recently, Andrea was featured as a panelist at the ChIPs Next Gen Conference – “The Career Journey” session. Andrea enjoys mentoring law students and new lawyers as they navigate their career journey and helping them thrive in a variety of professional settings. She has led summer associate programs for many years at Intel and previously at Wilson Sonsini.
Andrea has experience in legal operations, knowledge management, legal professional development, and legal recruitment programs. Andrea was a people manager on the Legal Ops team where she led the development of education programs for the Intel Legal Dept. and legal training for business groups throughout Intel. Prior to joining Intel, Andrea worked at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, CA. Prior to her time at WSGR, she worked in the Office of Career Management (formerly Law Career Services) at Santa Clara Law.
Andrea received a bachelor’s degree and law degree from Santa Clara University. She is thrilled to return as an adjunct lecturer to guide students through Critical Lawyering Skills, a seminar focused on competencies students need to succeed in law school and in any professional role they ultimately pursue.
Andrea is a Bay Area native and she loves to travel the world with her family (she has two sons – 15 and 12).
