Santa Clara Law leads in legal education by preparing students for the legal profession of the future. Through innovative pedagogy, experiential learning opportunities, and an institutional commitment to adopting “next” practices, Santa Clara Law students graduate ready to practice and adapt to the ever-changing legal landscape. Our students learn and collaborate in Charney Hall, our new law school facility equipped with the latest technology and cutting-edge legal research tools that empower them to be better lawyers.

• Three decades ago, we were among the first in the nation to create a High Tech Law program. We continue to innovate with our first-in-the-nation Privacy Law Certificate and Tech Edge JD program.
• Students serve others while learning the law through our numerous and innovative experiential learning opportunities, including our Northern California Innocence Project, the Alexander Law Center, and our Entrepreneurs’ Law Clinic. 
• Our new law school facility, Charney Hall (completed in 2018), includes a 230-seat mock courtroom, a 1,700-square-foot TEAL (Technology Enabled Active Learning) collaborative learning classroom, and a new law library with 4,300 square feet of stacks and a large reading room with new technology-based research capabilities.

		The 2019 ranking of Santa Clara Law’s privacy program by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
		Santa Clara Law was the first in the nation to offer a Privacy Law Certificate.
