Please submit a presentation proposal by Wednesday, July 17. You will learn by Friday, July 26 whether your proposal has been selected. Our hope is that the conference theme is sufficiently broad to accommodate a variety of topics including ethics, pedagogy, successful classroom activities, problem design, collaboration with different courses or parts of the university, assessment, and more.

Travel:
The Santa Clara Campus is a five-minute drive from the San Jose Airport (SJC), and about a 30-45-minute drive from San Francisco Airport (SFO). The campus is directly across the street from the Santa Clara Cal-Train station. For those driving to campus for the day, we will provide parking in a garage on campus for free. For more specific directions, please visit here.
Exploring Northern California:
Outside the excitement of the conference, there are many opportunities to explore the area, either on your own or with your family. Please visit here to see what the San Jose area has to offer (for football fans, there is a 49ers game against the Steelers on Sunday, September 22, 1:25 pm at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara). San Francisco is about an hour north of campus, and has even more opportunities for food, culture, and sights – more information here. Farther north includes Napa, Muir Woods, and Sonoma. South of campus includes Santa Cruz, Monterrey Bay, and Big Sur. September offers the best weather of the year for Northern California, even in frigid San Francisco. We hope you are able to take some extra time to explore.
