Want to see 10 countries from your home, no passport needed? Tired of being cooped up and wishing that you could get out? Heard the term Virtual Tour, but not sure what it is? Looking for a substitute to hiking in the National Parks or missing SCU’s de Saisset Museum?
This event will help you catalogue your own travel or family events, as well as showcase some examples of exciting virtual travel to help you experience famous places and museums including one example for each of our CGLP programs as well as one externship location. We will introduce exciting tools, primarily focusing on Google Arts and Culture. In less than an hour and a half, we will tour all CGLP program destinations – Costa Rica, Sydney, Shanghai, Tokyo, Singapore, Oxford, Vienna, Geneva, The Hague and one CGLP Externship destination – Johannesburg, South Africa. We will briefly touch on the history of Google Arts & Culture which will touch very lightly on some of the issues in International IP.
To prepare for the event, please be sure to utilize zoom from a desktop computer and be prepared to follow along on your computer, we recommend having Google Chrome as a browser. Additionally, if you have a smartphone, please download Google Arts & Culture.
