Bryan Hinkle – Assistant Dean, Law Admissions and Financial Aid

Bryan Hinkle has been the Assistant Dean for Law Admissions and Financial Aid at Santa Clara University School of Law since 2012. He grew up in Orange County, California. A first generation college student, Bryan received a B.A. and Graduate Certificate from U.C. Santa Cruz. He earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law as a part-time law student while working full-time.

Bryan has held several positions at the School of Law. He began his career at Santa Clara as the Law Admissions and Financial Aid Counselor. He later worked in Law Career Services (now the Office of Career Management), where he held the positions of Assistant Director for Law Career Development and Acting Assistant Dean of Law Career Services. Shortly after graduating from law school, Bryan joined Access Group, Inc. (now AccessLex Institute), where he worked with graduate and professional schools throughout Northern California, Oregon, and Washington. Prior to returning to Santa Clara, Bryan was the Director of the Office of Career Planning at the University of San Francisco School of Law.

Bryan has been a member of NALP, the Association of Legal Career Professionals, and BALRA, the Bay Area Legal Recruitment Association. He has spoken on the topics of law admissions, financial aid, financial literacy and career development at national and regional conferences and events.
