Congratulations to Santa Clara Law Alumni Nick Halkowski JD ’20 and Ernest “Ernie” Fok JD ’21, who have accepted offers to become clerks for the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. They will start this Fall.
During his time at Santa Clara Law, Nick was among the top students of his class while working as a research assistant to Professor Colleen Chien. Nick is currently an associate at the San Francisco office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where his practice focuses on pharmaceutical cases, including Hatch-Waxman litigation.
Ernie is the most recent recipient of Santa Clara Law’s Mabie Outstanding Law Graduate Award. As a Santa Clara law student, he held numerous student leadership positions and collaborated with Professor Chien on a wide range of comments and articles. Ernie is an associate in the Silicon Valley Office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where his practice focuses on patent litigation.
