Innovative Instruction Designed for an Evolving Profession
Santa Clara Law leads in legal education by preparing students for the legal profession of the future. Through innovative pedagogy, experiential learning opportunities, and an institutional commitment to adopting “next” practices, Santa Clara Law students graduate ready to practice and adapt to the ever-changing legal landscape. Our students learn and collaborate in Charney Hall, our new law school facility equipped with the latest technology and cutting-edge legal research tools that empower them to be better lawyers.
Our new law school facility, Charney Hall (completed in 2018), includes a 230-seat mock courtroom, a 1,700-square-foot TEAL (Technology Enabled Active Learning) collaborative learning classroom, and a new law library with 4,300 square feet of stacks and a large reading room with new technology-based research capabilities.
“In our curriculum, Santa Clara Law is committed to identifying next practices: imagining what the future will look like and developing innovative programs that build on our distinctive strengths to prepare our students to lead.”
