Rooted in the Jesuit, Catholic tradition of serving others and dedicated to forging leaders of competence, conscience, and compassion, Santa Clara Law offers a student-centered approach to the law school experience. Emphasizing collaboration, encouraging experiential learning, and celebrating diversity, we create a law school culture that is cooperative and one that produces practice-ready lawyers. Moreover, our curriculum reinforces our commitment to racial and social justice, and our graduates apply their legal skills in service with and for others.

Santa Clara Law celebrates the progress it has made creating a more inclusive culture and a more diverse community of students, staff, and faculty, while striving to do more. We aspire for our law school to reflect the rich diversity of the Silicon Valley region in which we are located, and to contribute to the formation of a more just, humane, and sustainable world.

1st   Law School in the nation to take the ABA Well-Being Pledge, establish a wellness task force, and work to integrate a comprehensive 8 Pillars of Wellness framework into our student-services work, continuing a longstanding commitment to the core Jesuit value of cura personalis or “care of the whole person.”
