Rising 3L Lilas Abuelhawa was selected from a large pool of applicants to participate in the American Bar Association’s Business Law Diversity Clerkship Program. Lilas is currently clerking remotely for Judge Elizabeth Gonzalez in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lilas also is Co-President of the Student Bar Association for the 2021-22 school year.
The Business Law Section Diversity Clerkship Program focus is on judicial clerkships, where diversity among judicial clerks remains disproportionately low. This summer program provides business law clerkship placements for six qualified diverse second year law students.
