The film “Alternative Facts: The Lies of Executive Order 9066” will be shown. The film covers the legal aspects of the Korematsu case, and there will be a panel after the screening with experts on this issue, including one of Korematsu’s lawyers and the filmmaker.

Fred Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties and the Constitution is annually celebrated on January 30. The day honors the Japanese American civil rights activist who challenged the constitutionality of the incarceration of Japanese Americans during WWII.
