Rainmaking: How to Build Client Relationships & Grow Professional Development

Women and LawWhy are some people more successful at acquiring and retaining clients than others? What personal characteristics make someone a “rainmaker”? This was the subject of a groundbreaking “Rainmaker Study” initiated by Patricia Gillette, a leading expert on gender and diversity in the workplace. Join Women & Law and ChIPs for a discussion about the results from Ms. Gillette’s study, joined by in-house counsel and successful business generators from Bay Area law firms. The panel will be followed by a reception, providing an opportunity for guests to meet the speakers and network with each other. The event is open to attorneys and students. Panel discussion from 6:00 to 7:30, Reception from 7:30 to 8:30.
