The Letter from Birmingham Jail: A Reading and Discussion in Celebration of Dr. King’s Legacy takes place on January 17, 2006 from 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m. in Bannan Hall Room 135 on the Santa Clara University campus. Copies of Dr. King’s letter are available in the bookcase outside the faculty support office in Bergin Hall Room 204, on the Santa Clara University campus.
The second event on January 17, 2006 is a Wine and Cheese King Day Celebration with Social Justice Faculty. The reception is being held from 5:00-p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in the Strong Common Room in Bergin Hall on the Santa Clara University campus. The reception is being co-hosted by BLSA, the Public Interest and Social Justice Coalition, La Raza and BGLAd.
