The Santa Clara Law Review has selected its Board of Editors for the upcoming Volume 47.  The new board embodies the talent and excellence that the School of Law has come to expect of its officially-sponsored law journal.  The members of the Volume 47 Board, who are J.D. candidates for 2007, will begin their production in the early summer.

The Law Review’s Executive Board consists of the following Santa Clara Unive rsity School of Law students:

Eric Lloyd assumes the role of Editor-in-Chief with a broad range of professional experience.  Prior to enrolling at Santa Clara University, he worked in ecommerce sales and operations.  He has since interned for a law firm in Singapore and clerked in the San Mateo County Counsel’s Office.  Lloyd holds a B.A. in History from the University of California, Berkeley. This summer, he will work at Heller Ehrman LLP.

 

Deepa Muralimohan Panelli, Managing Editor, brings several years of business experience in supply chain management. Most recently, Panelli was an extern to Presiding Justice Conrad L. Rushing at the California Sixth District Court of Appeal. Prior to law school, she worked at 3Com and Palm, Inc.  This summer, she will work at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Panelli holds a B.S. in Supply Chain Management, summa cum laude, from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business.

 

Justine Cannon, Senior Technical Editor, has years of management experience, both as a radio news director and as a bank branch manager.  In 2005, Cannon worked as a housing rights advocate for mental health consumers.  This summer, she will work for San Francisco civil litigation firm Leonidou & Rosin.  Cannon holds a B.S. in Journalism, cum laude, from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

 

Suzanne Farley, Senior Articles Editor, joins the Executive Board with extensive experience in the music and publishing industries.  Prior to law school, she worked at Sony Music Entertainment/Epic Records and at Metropolitan Talent, LLP as a contract administrator in the concert promotions department, and in artist management.  She attended New York University and City University of New York and holds a B.F.A., magna cum laude, in Music Engineering.

 

Jessica Sharron, Senior Comments Editor, has diverse academic and athletic experience. Last summer, Sharron clerked at Penser Kawamoto Law Group in McLean, Va.  She volunteers in San Jose with Senior Adults Legal Assistance and at the Katherine and George Alexander Law Center.  In January, she participated in the School of Law’s El Salvador immersion trip.  This summer, Sharron will work at Bet Tzedek Legal Services in Los Angeles.  She holds a B.A. in History and Spanish, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame, where she lettered as an NCAA Division I Women’s Softball Scholar Athlete.
