The Santa Clara County Bar Association will be hosting the New Admittees Swearing-In and Reception on Monday, June 5, 2006 from 5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in the Santa Clara County Superior Court at 161 North First Street in San Jose. A reception will follow the ceremony from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the Jury Assembly Room behind the Courthouse. All new admittees are welcome to attend regardless of law school attended.
Hon. Alden Danner, Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara and Hon. Jeremy Fogel, US District Court for the Northern District of California will be participating in the ceremony.
The event is free. Refreshments will be served and RSVPs are required. Please RSVP by June 3, 2006 to 408-975-2113 or email cindyg@sccba.com. New admittees are welcome to bring guests. Please indicate how many guests you will be bringing when you RSVP. New admittees must remember to bring their paperwork from the State Bar.
