The Santa Clara Computer & High Technology Law Journal is proud to present the appointment of its Volume 24 Editorial Board. The Journal’s incoming Executive Board consists of the following Santa Clara University School of Law students:
Allison Hendrix, Editor-in-Chief, brings to the Journal a diverse array of experiences and enthusiasm. Prior to law school, she worked for nearly 10 years as an ABA Certified Paralegal during which she acquired a solid understanding of California and Ninth Circuit appellate procedure. She served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Socrates Peter Manoukian in the California Superior Court and plans to extern this summer in the Federal District Court. She currently serves as the President of Santa Clara’s ACLU Chapter. Ms. Hendrix is a J.D. candidate for 2008 and is pursuing the Certificate in High Technology Law. She holds a B.A. in Law and Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Jared Schuettenhelm, Managing Editor, brings to the Journal a wealth of technical knowledge and project management experience. He is currently a scientist at LifeScan, Inc., and, prior to law school worked as a Process Engineer at Amira Medical/Roche Diagnostics. He is a J.D. candidate for 2008 and holds a B.A. in Biology from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
Peter Bade, Senior Production Editor, comes to the Journal with a broad range of experiences. He worked as a law clerk at Kanter Immigration Law Office where he drafted immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions for research scientists. Mr. Bade is a J.D. candidate for 2008 and graduated cum laude with a B.A in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Kellyn Wulff, Senior Production Editor, comes to the Journal with awealth of experience in publishing and media. She worked in publishing at Quality Words in Print and served as an Assistant Producer at Radio Disney. More recently, Ms. Wulff clerked at Adobe Systems and will be spending this summer doing litigation at ThelenReid Brown Raysman & Steiner LLP. She received the CALI award for excellence in Copyright. Ms. Wulff is a J.D. candidate for 2008 and holds a B.A. in English and Psychology from the University of California, Irvine.
Mona Kashani, Senior Comments Editor, joins the Journal with extensive experience in the fields of biotechnology and law. Prior to law school, she worked as a member of the Oncology Department at Exelixis pharmaceuticals, and, later, as a patent litigation paralegal at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. She was a judicial extern in the Northern District of California and currently works as a law clerk at Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld LLP. Ms. Kashani served as the Intellectual Property Association’s Seminar Co-Chair and participated in Honors Moot Court. She is a J.D. candidate for 2008 and holds a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
