Michael North is a partner at North Weber & Baugh LLP, a law firm specializing in intellectual property law. Michael received undergraduate degrees in Electrical Engineering and German from the University of Utah. Prior to law school, Michael worked as an electrical engineer for Motorola and Evans & Sutherland. Michael graduated from Boston University School of Law, having been a note editor for the Boston University International Law Journal and receiving various academic awards. During law school, Michael interned in the Special Program Examiners Office at the United States Patent & Trademark Office.

Michael specializes in patent law where he works on patent procurement, technology and patent licensing, and litigation matters. He is a member of a number of different intellectual property and technical organizations and sits on the U.S. Patent Law Committee of the Intellectual Property Owners Association.
