This panel will discuss what has driven the many recent changes in the legal profession and how those drivers are influencing emerging new law firm models in hiring and training new attorneys. There is increasing demand for new attorneys and law students to enter practice armed with a broader array of professional skills, including leadership skills that give them the agility to navigate change and to succeed under the emerging models of practice. Leadership is a cluster of identified skills that can be learned. Law schools can benefit from professionals who have been engaged in developing leadership skills in various arenas.
