Course Reserve

You may place hardcopy materials on reserve in the Law Library by submitting the materials with the Special Reserve Request Form. Materials to be placed on reserve should be submitted as far in advance as possible; we request a minimum of 3 days before students will need the material. Items on Reserve circulate for either 2 hours or 24 hours. Course reserve items are kept in the kiosk behind the Circulation Desk and adjacent to the Stauffer Reserve Room.

For a the Course Reserve form, go here.

Emery

Emery is the electronic reserve and course page system as well as Santa Clara University Law School’s intranet system. Emery allows law students to have 24-hour access to various electronic reserve items. As the Law School’s intranet, Emery allows the various Law School departments, including Student Records and the Law Library, to get information to you in an easily accessible manner.

Contact Maria Quinonez for Emery assistance at mquinonez@scu.edu or at 408-551-1939.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

If you need material that is not available on campus, we can obtain it for you from another library. You can request interlibrary loans by doing any of the following:

  1. Fill out an ILL form at the Reference Desk while you’re visiting the library.
  2. Make your request on OSCAR (you will need the number from the back of your SCU Campus ID Card (called an “Access Card”).
  3. E-mail your request to: lawill@scu.edu.

ILL forms are located at the Reference Desk. To request online, go here.
