Debbie Snyder joined the Office of Career Management in July 2021. Previous experience includes 12 years as the Director of Recruiting for a large, national law firm and five years as the Assistant Director of Career Services at Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis. She was the Executive Director of a national nonprofit association and spent time with a start-up technology company that created video profiles for students seeking employment. Debbie has a M.S. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University and a B.A. in Education from the College of William and Mary. She enjoys tennis, pickleball and Broadway musicals.
Whittley Pike, Director of Law Career Development

Whittley Pike joined the Office of Career Management in July 2022. Prior to this role, Whittley served as Senior Associate Director of Professional Development at her alma mater law school Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, coaching students and acting as liaison for employer organizations, as well as facilitating the Leadership & Professional Development Institute. Whittley has experience as a partner in a small law firm focusing on elder law, estate planning, and trust administration. In conjunction with her practice, Whittley co-chaired a national committee on Pro-Active Elder Law, writing and presenting at conferences with the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys. Whittley is trained in mediation and is licensed to practice law in the state of Indiana. She holds a B.A. in Rhetoric & Writing from Ball State University and a J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Whittley loves cheering on local soccer, exploring new restaurants, and getting outside.

In keeping with the vision of the goals and mission of the OCM office, Recruiting and Office Manager Christina Johnson is responsible for directing the use of a sophisticated online recruiting and employment management system (CORE), assisting in the coordination of all recruitment activities including large events as well as smaller forums (which are all directly relating with employers and students). Christina also manages a very busy student service office and supervises a team of student assistants, to ensure a high level of customer service to students, staff, faculty, employers and alumni.

As the Director of Employer Relations in the Office of Career Management, Lenny leads the School of Law’s strategic efforts to conduct outreach, identify, and develop and maintain lasting relationships with potential and current employers for our law students and alumni. He is also an Adjunct Professor teaching Sports Law. Prior to returning to his alma mater, Lenny spent over a decade as an executive with the Bar Association of San Francisco and has also worked for various sports, entertainment, and retail organizations including the Walt Disney Company, San Francisco 49ers (NFL), West Coast Conference (NCAA), San Jose CyberRays (WUSA), Sacramento Kings (NBA), and Westfield, LLC. Lenny holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and International Business from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He also earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Santa Clara University’s School of Law and his Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) from Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business. Lenny is a member of the State Bar of California and a California Registered Athlete Agent.
Sarah Tesconi, Director of Law Graduate Employment & Adjunct Professor

Sarah Tesconi is the Director of Law Graduate Employment in the Office of Career Management where she advises all class levels, LL.M. students, and alumni and creates programs and events to further students’ professional development. Professor Tesconi teaches the Co-Op Education course for international J.D. students and LL.M.s engaged in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Advanced Legal Writing (ALW), and the 1L Critical Lawyering Skills course. Before joining SCU, Sarah was a litigation associate for a plaintiff-side firm where she conducted trials and participated in numerous mediations and arbitrations. She also worked in-house for an insurance company handling insurance defense cases. Sarah received her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law and also has a Master’s degree from San Jose State University and Bachelor’s from Sonoma State University.
